Today, Singapore is one of the greenest cities in the world that safeguards more than 7,800 hectares of green spaces.

And this Chinese New Year, we hope to bring awareness on the importance of a sustainable living environment and encourage everyone to contribute to the green efforts in their own ways towards SG Green Plan 2030.

Together, let’s continue to #PowerTheChange and share our prosperity with our future generations.

This year’s design concept is to inspire Singaporeans to step out of their usual activities and appreciate the green spaces in our nation.

Through our collaboration with NParks’ Garden City Fund, 4 of Singapore’s native flora are illustrated to proudly showcase their exquisite features. The flora extends from the golden framed window, which represents the opportunity for us to appreciate the beauty of nature if we make time for it.

Within the red packet, you can also read up on lesser-known facts on the green space where each of the flora can be found.

With that, let us present to you ‘Change Brings Prosperity’

If you would like to receive this Limited Edition Geneco Red Packets and learn more about the featured flora and green spaces, simply take part in our social media contest!

After a successful collection and recycling of over 410kg of used red packets in 2021, our green initiative is back for the consecutive year!

Together with our partners, CRU, IUIGA, Refash, Tay Paper Recycling and Wisma Atria, you can drop your used red packets at any of the 26 locations found conveniently across the nation!

Let’s all do our part to keep our tradition alive and keep Singapore our City in Nature.

Garden City Fund (GCF), established by the National Parks Board (NParks), is a registered charity with 100% of donations raised go towards projects it supports.

One of the key projects is the Plant-A-Tree programme, which is a platform for organisations and individuals to actively participate in the greening of our City in Nature by planting trees.

Every tree planted will also contribute to the OneMillionTrees movement to plant one million trees across Singapore over the next 10 years towards SG Green Plan 2030.

Learn how you can be part of the movement here and let’s restore nature back to our city and redouble our efforts to green our urban infrastructure on an unprecedented scale.

To commemorate Earth Day 2021, Geneco has committed to contribute 250 trees over 5 years under the OneMillionTrees movement, starting with the first 50 trees planted at Windsor Nature Park.

This year, we are thrilled
to plant the next 50 trees in April 2022 and hope you can be part of our event.
